Hand wash with warm water and mild laundry detergent. Use a soft toothbrush or sponge to gently clean the canvas and footbed. Rinse with clean water and towel off excess moisture.

Leave to dry naturally in a warm, dry place. Avoid tumble drying, radiators, fires, heaters, and prolonged direct sunlight, as heat and UV exposure may cause fading, drying, or material degradation.

Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Avoid damp storage or sealed plastic bags. Rubber and rubber-like materials can become brittle over time, especially if stored for long periods in heat, sunlight, damp, or poorly ventilated conditions.

Footwear materials naturally age over time. Rubber, EVA, foam, cork, and adhesives may dry out, weaken, crack, or become brittle if stored for long periods in heat, strong sunlight, damp conditions, or poor ventilation. To help extend the life of your Gumbies, keep them clean, let them dry naturally, and store them somewhere cool, dry, and well ventilated.

I'm a fan

Unless it's snowing, I'm in flip-flops. This is my first pair of Gumby's, but I see more in my future. They're comfortable, sticky as gecko feet, and look sweet. I spend a lot of time paddling. Here in the PNW we don't have those nice sandy beaches. We have rocks, barnacles, and crabs, so some kind of footwear is requisite and these fit the bill. I worried the fabric on the footbed would be an issue in the salt water. It's not. My only wish is for a bit more of an arch.

Great Sandals

Live on the beach and have been buying $80 Hawaiian brand for years. Skeptical so ordered a single pair. Love them! Ordering another pair, wife getting a pair. Recommend to all.

As previous owner of a pair of duckbills, I felt I needed to replace them when I wore them out. The next logical thing was the Islanders. Seem to be a little softer footbed, and fit and feel was excellent. Gumbies customer for life!

I waited for some to go on sale before buying my first pair. Got then and tried them on and man are they COMFORTABLE! Now we see how long they last. They seem very well made so I expect they will last a while.

Color???

Received the wrong color. Contacted support and they said they sent out a classic khaki but they were green. Not sure how you make that mistake when they are brown in the picture. I am going to try these out on my upcoming trip to see how well they hold up in Costa Rica.
